Househunters across Bristol will be able to get a quick and convenient snapshot of the best homes available when Andrews Estate Agents throws open the doors of houses currently for sale.

With the property market beginning to pick up some momentum, Andrews branches across the area will be holding a second series of Open House Weekends allowing buyers and investors to view a number of properties in one day.

With many of the homes selected being offered at reduced prices for these weekends only it will also enable sellers to accelerate the sale of their property.

Michael Robson, Chief Executive of Andrews said Open House Weekends had proved tremendously successful when rolled out across the country last year with 73% of properties taking part receiving an offer.

He said: "We're aiming to bring buyers and sellers together in a short space of time to maximise the opportunities to find the best deal for everyone. New and existing customers can get involved so there are bound to be some real gems to take a closer look at.

"With such a high percentage of properties receiving an offer last year the initiative certainly proved successful and we're hoping it will prove just as popular this Autumn."

Taking place on 22 and 29 September and 6 October the Open House Weekends will feature a wide selection of properties that are new to Andrews.

Properties participating in the Open House Weekends can be easily spotted by colourful balloons on Andrews For Sale boards and distinctive blue 'Look' stickers on property details in Andrews' branch windows and advertising.

A large number of existing and new sellers have already signed up to take part and are now planning to open up their properties for specific time slots for potential buyers to view.

Potential buyers and investors can register their interest, and book appointments to view a number of properties in the same day by visiting any of Andrews' branches throughout Bristol or online at andrewsonline.co.uk/lookandbook.

Mr Robson added: "It's a great opportunity to look at a number of properties over a short period of time with the chance to pick up their next property at an excellent price. It's a different approach to buying property and it does seem to concentrate people's minds towards a successful sale."
