ONE of the UK's top ten training providers will have advisers on hand at a careers fair next week to offer help and advice about apprenticeships to young people.
Chris Longmate - managing director at Positive Outcomes
The 'What Next Careers and Opportunities Fair' is being held at Nottingham Racecourse in Colwick on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 October, and is Nottingham's largest careers fair.
Positive Outcomes, which offers a range of apprenticeships, will be at the fair to provide careers advice and discuss their apprenticeship opportunities.
Positive Outcomes has a glowing reputation for the standard of apprenticeships it provides. Each apprenticeship offers a youngster the chance to gain on-the-job training and experience in a chosen industry, and to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
Chris Longmate, managing director at Positive Outcomes, said: "The careers fair is an exclusive opportunity for 15-19 year olds to get help and advice from our careers experts, and to consider the advantages of doing an apprenticeship.
"We have apprenticeships available to suit everyone, whether it's after you have completed GCSEs, A-Levels or as an alternative to university.
"There are so many options out there that many young people don't know about, and we are on hand to help them make the right choices about their future."
Positive Outcomes has apprenticeship opportunities across sectors including IT, Business Administration, Customer Services, Retail and Estate Agency.
The event is open to the public, parents and young people from 4.15pm – 8pm on both Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 October. A number of city and county schools are attending with their students on the Tuesday between 9am – 3.30pm.
