One of Bristol's top hotels is to host a charity dinner in aid of West Country Crimestoppers.
Taking place on 29 November at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Redcliffe Way, Bristol it is hoped the event will raise substantial funds for the independent organisation that helps find criminals and solve crimes.
As a charity Crimestoppers has to raise funds for the work it does, helping fight crime across the West Country.
Last year the charity received more than 2,270 pieces of information about crime in the region resulting in 182 criminals being arrested and charged with crimes ranging from murder to drink driving.
In addition drugs with a street value of over £900,000 were removed from local streets.
John Dowling, general manager at the hotel said: "We've hosted this event for a number of years and it has always been very well supported by the local business community and individuals from across the West. It's always great fun and helps raise money for a very good cause.
"The more we can do to reduce crime in the region the better and in the run up to the festivities it's always worth sparing a thought for those who have been affected by crime."
Guests at the four-star hotel will be treated to a wine reception, a delicious three-course dinner, entertainment features the UK's leading Michael Buble tribute, Marc Dillon (Pop idol finalist) and a disco by Dave Windsor of D J Providers until 1am.
Following the dinner guests will be able to take part in a fundraising auction and also enter a raffle.
Prizes include a 2013 programme from Wimbledon signed by both champions, Andy Murray and Marion Bartoli, a Christmas hamper from Waitrose, donations from The Bristol Hippodrome and a half day for four people to spend with the Avon and Somerset Police horses.
Special room rates are also being offered at the contemporary boutique hotel so guests at the party are able to stay in style for just £85 per double room which includes breakfast and £75 for a single.
