Part of the Bristol Post business awards, DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House which is located in Congresbury, North Somerset won the Apprentice Employer of the Year category.
Beating off stiff competition, the judges were impressed by a number of factors that has helped maintain the four-star venue's status as being one of the most highly regarded businesses in the region.
One area that really impressed the judges was Cadbury House's continual commitment to provide work-based experience for local apprentices across all its business platforms including the hotel, health club and spa and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant.
They were also impressed by its medium to long-term objective to take on apprenticeships which the management team view as being integral to the future success of the venue.
Finally, the fact that so many apprenticeships had secured full-time employment at Cadbury House and had developed their careers proved popular.
Colin Badcock, general manager said: "This is a great achievement and everyone involved with our apprentices at Cadbury House should be extremely proud.
"We have many links to a number of colleges across the area and currently have 11 apprentices on the books. Many others have gained full-time employment upon completion of their studies.
"Apprentices bring fresh energy and skills to Cadbury House and the scheme works fantastically well. It not only gives young people the chance to gain invaluable experience within a multi-million pound turnover business but enables us to tap into a wealth of local talent and enthusiasm.
"As a major employer in the region, Cadbury House has an obligation to provide the next line of hotel managers, restaurant managers, chefs, fitness managers and spa therapists the opportunity to get hands on experience in the work place.
"There is a lot of talent in the region and tapping into this talent, giving it an opportunity and letting it develop will help secure the future of the business.
"Our target is to provide at least 15 apprentices work experience in the next 12 months, spread across all business platforms.
"All these factors are a clear demonstration of the commitment to continually bring the best to the venue and reinforces Cadbury Houses' position as being the best hotel in the region."
