Should Clifton's Granby Hill become one-way?

While Bridge Valley Road remains closed, Granby Hill in Clifton continues to take far more traffic than it is used to and can cope with.

There is now strong support for traffic calming measures to be introduced on Granby Hill, or make the road one-way.

The road is very steep and narrow and being used as a rat-run has caused many problems.

Granby Hill resident Paul Thorton told Jack FM: "There've been arguments, fights, shouting, screaming, swearing - it's been difficult. Plus the fact I have a garage on the road - I can't get the car out because the road is jammed with traffic much of the time."
