Bristol-based PR company Content Communications is providing its long-standing client, Watson-Marlow Pumps Group, with short-term PR support for its new sales office in Austria.

Watson-Marlow, the world's leading manufacturer of positive displacement pumps, already has an existing PR agent covering the German region. However, the company lacked marketing support for Austria.

Content Coms, a Bristol-based content marketing agency and expert in turning leads into sales, has been providing media relations expertise to Watson-Marlow's UK office for several years. Based on their strong working relationship, Content Coms has now been asked to work directly with Watson-Marlow's business development team to raise the company's profile in Austria.

Anne Schultz, an Oxford graduate and native German speaker, is working with Content Coms to carry out the project. Using her first-class language skills, Anne is helping the Content Coms team to identify trade publications in Austria and find opportunities for PR and profile-building in the Austrian trade media and German publications that cover the Austrian region. The Content Coms team is also working strategically with Watson-Marlow to assess how best to manage its PR strategy in Austria going forward.

Joanna Watchman, Managing Director of the content driven marketing firm Content Coms, comments: "When one of our clients needs help, we're there to provide it – that's part of what makes us different from your average PR firm. Watson-Marlow came to us with a problem and we have been able to respond with a flexible solution. We've already achieved excellent press coverage for Watson-Marlow in Austria and the client couldn't be happier."
