Dine at Marco's this Valentine's Day

Couples looking for a special night out this Valentine's Day are being invited to dine at one of the region's finest steakhouses, which has launched an exclusive three-course menu for the occasion.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, set within the grounds of DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is pulling out all the stops for loved up couples, with each table receiving a rose and box of chocolates as well as top-class cuisine this February 14.

Oozing with atmosphere and class the renowned restaurant impresses at first sight with dark, sultry décor and smart service designed to give the wow factor.

Restaurant manager Mimmo Pomo said: "Valentine's Day is all about romance, atmosphere and a little something extra special that you can't get all year round. With that in mind, Marco Pierre White's is the perfect place to spend the evening.

"This year we have carefully crafted the menu and we have some really great dishes on offer including prime rib-eye steak and guinea fowl with toasted almond potatoes.

"Treat your loved one to a delicious dinner in a beautiful location and we'll make sure we give you a night to remember."

Also available on the Valentine's menu is starters of pan-fried scallops, oxtail ravioli and smoked salmon terrine among others.

For main dishes diners can choose from a selection including pan roasted cod with brown shrimps and grilled lamb cutlets with braised shoulder of lamb and dauphinoise potatoes.

To finish, double chocolate fondant with black cherry sauce, apple tart and a selection of local cheeses are among the choices available all for just £50 per person.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill offers superb seasonal food cooked with imagination and commitment. It also offers an extensive list of wines as well as ciders, ales, champagne and cocktails.

Mimmo continued: "Once diners have enjoyed their meal, we invite them to join our party night which is hosted in the Great Room, allowing them to dance the night away with our resident DJ.

"Even then, the fun doesn't have to end as we are offering a special room rate of £109 for standard rooms and £124 for deluxe rooms."

Guests who choose to stay at the four-star boutique hotel will also receive breakfast and have access to the award-winning health club and spa.

For those who enjoy more of a party atmosphere the Valentine's Dine & Dance party on 14 February is £22 per person including an arrival drink and three-course dinner. The Valentine's Party on 15 February is £22 per person again including arrival drink and three-course dinner. The Valentine's Ball is taking place on Saturday 16 February and is £29 per person with an arrival drink and four-course dinner.
