Groovy Babies Disco for MS Therapy Centre

A city centre nightclub is preparing for a boisterous crowd
of youngsters when it hosts the third Groovy Babies Disco on December 3, to
raise money for The West of England MS Therapy Centre.
Oceana, on Bristol's Harbourside, will be transformed into
an exclusive child-proof venue for the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm, with great
music, a light-up dance floor, flashing lights, glow sticks and even changing
stations in the loos. Children aged seven and under will be hitting the
dance floor to boogie along to some of the best floor fillers and old school
classics in the DJ's collection.
The club is appealing to children and their parents from all
over the city and surrounding area to support the event, which is being held to
raise vital funds for West of England MS Therapy Centre. The charity provides
therapies and support to nearly 300 people throughout the Greater Bristol area
living with Multiple Sclerosis.
The MS Therapy Centre based in Nailsea, relies entirely on
public donations to fund its expert staff and deliver crucial support and
therapies to people with MS who depend on its existence. Early in 2012
the charity will move to Bradley Stoke, to new purpose-built premises which
will, in time, allow it to provide support to twice as many people.
Groovy Babies is the ultimate disco experience for those
aged 0 - 7 and is also an opportunity for Mums and Dads to dance along with
their babies to all the best music.
Janet Epplestone, Fundraising Manager for The MS Therapy
Centre said: "The disco is a wonderful way for young families to support the
West of England MS Therapy Centre and all proceeds go towards the Charity which
provides affordable therapies for people living with MS - the most common form
of disability amongst young people in the UK.
"There are still tickets available but don't leave it too
late – Groovy Babies is very popular. Buy your tickets now and make sure
you are on the guest list for the best Christmas disco of the season."
From 2pm onwards, there will be plenty of activities and
fantastic raffle prizes to be won with face painting and a special chill out
zone, as well as the main dance floor. The bar will be open for parents
too.
It is unlikely these clubbers will be hanging around for a
lock-in however as the music ends in time for tea at 5pm. And instead of
heading out to find a kebab, these disco dancers will be heading home for bath
time.
Tickets for Groovy Babies Disco cost just £5 for walkers and
£2 for non walkers. To purchase tickets, please go to: www.ticketweb.co.uk or phone 0844 477
1000 and quote "Groovy Babies".
