A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a Range Rover – which then drove off – in Kings Street, Bristol on Friday December 7.

The incident happened at about 3.30am at the junction with Charlotte Street.
A short time later the vehicle was stopped and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has been released on police bail.
