There's a very interesting story in today's Evening Post here about Adolf Hitler's targets in Clifton and Bristol ahead of a planned German invasion of England.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge is one of the targets due to it being a vital supply route at the time.
Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery on Queen's Road is one of the aims listed as a target on the map, due to be sold at auction tomorrow.
Targets key to the war effort included the docks, railway, steel works and chemical works.
A windmill on The Grove (which once stood between where the Thekla and Mud Dock are today), was also targetted.
