Jamie Shore teams shine at Welsh Super Cup event

JAMIE Shore Soccer had their pre-season tour to the Welsh Super Cup in Cardiff.

It proved to be a very strong tournament held over five days, with teams from all over the world (Canada, USA, Malta), plus several professional academy teams, such as Hereford, Blackpool and Cardiff City, involved.

Jamie Shore had teams in four age groups – under-11s, under-12s, under-13 and under-15s.

The JSS teams were superb throughout the tournament, with the under-11s and under-15s both making the finals, only to lose by one goal to Cardiff City Academy in each game. The under-12s went out in the semi-finals to Cardiff and the under-13s made it to the quarter-finals and managed to win the plate competition.

Shore said: "Competing in the Welsh Super Cup was a great experience for our boys."
