The Jersey Lily on Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol, has had a smart new makeover.

The Jersey Lily, now painted black on the outside with vibrant gold lettering, offers a new and traditional tapas menu between Monday and Saturday, 12-3 and 5-9.

There is a possibilty of six real ales on tap, but when I visited this morning for a hair of the dog Bloody Mary, only Butcombe and Tribute were available.

Inside, there are comfortable sofas in the window and a painting of Amy Winehouse for sale on one wall.

The Jersey Lily follows in the footsteps of nearby Clifton, Bristol, pubs the Black Boy Inn and the Red Lion which have also been transformed during the course of 2011.
