Make up advice at top North Somerset spa

A professional make-up artist will be on-hand to provide women with beauty tips and advice at a special event on Tuesday 10 July.

thespa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House will be hosting Danielle Tomlinson, a top make-up artist for Jane Iredale, who will show guests all the tricks of the trade, for both natural and glamorous make-up.

The event will run from 1pm until 8pm with talks, practical sessions and access to various vouchers and offers throughout the day.

Michelle Ferguson, manager of thespa said: "Make-up application is a fine art. Done well it can really highlight a woman's best features, compliment a style and disguise any imperfections. But done badly it can be a disaster.

"Many women don't make the most of their assets and shy away from using a lot of make-up because they don't feel confident. Trying and testing different ranges can be expensive and timely, which is why we wanted to offer practical and personal advise, which can be taken away and used.

"We are inviting women from across the region to come along and have a fun evening with us, while learning some great tips for application, colour and products. We have one of the best make-up artists in the country to answer all your queries and recommend the best make-up for you.

"Danielle will look at your skin tone and colouring and guide you towards the right colours and products. You'll leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and armed with invaluable tips on how to make the most of your beauty."

There is a £15 booking fee for the event but this can be redeemed against two or more Jane Iredale products purchased on the day.
