Mums and Dads urged not to miss out on grand opening!

Bedminster's latest independent shop will be officially opened with a celebration party on Saturday July 14.

Our Baby Needs at 98 St John's Lane will be hosting a fun day of face painting, clowning, a bouncy castle and more treats for the kids, as well as cakes and refreshments.

The family-run business has been launched with the aim of helping mums and dads find everything they might need to care for and raise their baby, stocking a range of new and quality used baby equipment such as prams, car seats, cots and bedding. The shop also has a selection of toys, quality used baby and maternity clothes and their exclusive handmade clothing and accessories range 'Bumble Tots'.

Run by Nicky Manners and Hayley Sansom, Our Baby Needs is quickly establishing itself as the one stop shop for baby supplies in  South Bristol.

Nicky said: "This is a chance for us to give something back to the local community which has welcomed and supported us so far and for us to welcome new visitors from nurseries, schools and other groups all over South Bristol.

 "With so many pressures on spending these days it's our way to demonstrate that you can compromise on spending without compromising quality or safety.  Babies grow fast and equipment can sometimes only be used for a short time so it is important to ensure you are getting the best value."
