With an overall rating of 'good', inspectors said: "Children are happy and keen to make good progress in their learning and development. Staff organise bright and stimulating learning environments to entice children to explore independently."
The report went on to say: "Staff have accurate knowledge of safeguarding procedures and have effective partnerships with key agencies to meet children's needs.
"The nursery's management team were highly motivated and provided effective support to staff."
Inspector Rachael Williams said the nursery reflects diversity well throughout the provision.
She said: "Parents are actively involved in children's learning from the start. Consequently, staff have a good knowledge of their individual key children, which is supported by detailed and ongoing observations of children's engagement in activities.
"Assessment arrangements are robust, identifying accurate next steps in learning, which staff use effectively to influence future planning. Therefore, children make good progress in their learning and development. Staff keep parents well informed of their children's development as they regularly share a summary of their progress with the key person.
"Generally, staff encourage children's independence well, such as older children serving their own food at lunchtime and making healthy choices.
"Children behave well and they have good understanding of expectations and boundaries. They are constantly involved in interesting activities so there is little time for them to be bored or disinterested."
Bev Driffield from Mama Bear's Day Nursery said: "The nursery staff were pleased to see they have emerged with flying colours from the latest Ofsted report.
"We were particularly pleased to see our close personal interaction with each child at the nursery was noted by the inspector. The inspector said that a few minor tweaks in our personal communication protocols could have pushed us up in to the 'outstanding' category that all of our nurseries are striving for.
"We will continue to work hard to ensure that all our nurseries deliver the high-quality outstanding care that we have become renowned for."
