With hundreds of families in Weston and Bristol fighting for their child's primary place, the Winscombe-based school is holding an open morning on Monday, May 7th for prospective parents to find out more about the scholarships and bursaries.
Iain Kilpatrick, 44, who starts as the 300-year-old school's new Head in August, said: "These ongoing scholarships and bursaries in the Junior, Senior and Sixth Form are an exciting new development for Sidcot.
"We offer an excellent bus service from Bristol, right across North Somerset and Weston-super-Mare.
"Sidcot is a registered charity with fantastic academic results and in line with the caring equality of the Quaker ethos we are committed to widening pupil access for talented children."
Bristol parent Christine Comrie, of Bayswater Avenue, Westbury Park, whose son, Hugh, 14, is at Sidcot, said: "It's a wonderful caring school and the choice to go there was clinched by the brilliant bus service."
Up to 50 per cent of the school's annual day fees will be waived for pupils who excel academically or are gifted in the arts or at sport.
There are also Head's Scholarships for candidates who bring an outstanding all-round contribution to the Sidcot community as well as special International Baccalaureate Scholarships for Year 12 students.
The deadline for all financial assistance applications for September 2012 is May 14.
Successful applicants will be invited to spend time at Sidcot School for tests, with interviews to follow for selected candidates.
Sidcot is an independent day and boarding school for more than 500 pupils aged three to 18 which offers sixth formers the International Baccalaureate as well as A-levels.
It is the only Quaker school in the South West and one of only seven in the UK. It accepts students from all faiths or none.
Iain added: "Demand for boarding within our school is very strong allowing us to expand and provide an opportunity for talented children who want to attend in the day."
The open morning will be hosted in the Arts Centre between 9.30am and noon with a full tour of the school campus.
