    Update from the police:

"We are continuing to investigate an assault in Bristol last month and are releasing images of people who might be able to help us.

"At 3am on Saturday September 15 two men were racially abused and assaulted in Park Street. They both received facial injuries and one victim required surgery. Enquiries have established that the assault took place outside the Antics club and that some people who might be able to help our enquiries were in Lloyds Bar before the assault.

"We have released images of the people who might be able to help our enquiries."

PC Victoria Thomas, who is investigating the incident, said: "This was an unprovoked assault on two men who were punched and had abuse shouted at them. One of them required surgery for a fractured nose and cheekbone. We have some good images of people who might have important information and I am sure someone will recognise them. I would urge those people to contact me."
