I am one of the 200,000 visitors, and loved it! Fortunately, I went before the schools broke up - the queue was massive when I went past today!

I visited the Banksy exhibition last week & thought it was great, well worth the long wait in the queue (although I did feel for the people queuing half way down Park Row to get in!!).
There were some really great pieces of art – some sad, some satirical, some thought-provoking, some slightly shocking or embarrassing and some laugh-out-loud funny.
I’ve visited the museum on a few occasions before Banksy’s takeover and it is a real gem in the heart of the city. It was great fun to hunt out the Banksys in among the other pieces of art. I think it’s great that this latest exhibition has highlighted what a great (free!) attraction we have on our doorstep.
Thank you for coming home & choosing Bristol Banksy!
Here's what Paul Harrod, Prospective Liberal Democrat MP, Bristol North West said in a letter to the Bristol Evening Post:
The queues for the Banksy exhibition are quite extraordinary.
My family and I went on Friday and thought we had beat the queues by arriving half an hour before it closed, but even then we had to wait.
However it was worth it, even for the 15 minutes we had in the exhibition – although my youngest son was very upset to see the picture of Thomas the Tank Engine being sprayed with graffiti!
The Tories have said they are considering scrapping free entry to museums and art galleries. If anything demonstrates how bad an idea that is, it is the queues outside the Bristol Museum.
Not only is this exhibition open to all, but it is free whether you spend half a day there or half an hour.
As we queued to leave at 5pm on Friday, a large proportion of visitors made a donation. No doubt the museum will make more money from this exhibition than any other, despite the extras costs of monitoring the queues.
The principle of opening up the nation's galleries and museums for free must remain. The Bristol Museum and the council have demonstrated that the right displays can attract crowds in their thousands, and it would be a huge mistake to exclude people from that on the grounds of cost.
Paul Harrod, Prospective Liberal Democrat MP, Bristol North West.
Editor's note: A spokesperson for the Conservative Party has told us that they have "categorically ruled out" the idea of charging entry for museums and galleries.

I thought it was an excellent exhibition, bringing thousands of people into the Museum. especially as he craftily labels himself as 'over-rated local artist'!
The queue was made tolerable, with friends and signs moderating your expectation.
The best thing I find about Banksy, is that he must be a crew of people, his drawing style varies so much. The Israeli stuff could have been developed.
With Banksy I find - long live the spirit of Willie Rushton!!!!!!!!!!!! and similar newspaper humourists!
A lot of artists can vary their style, I know I get bored with one technique before trying another - have a look at tinyurl.com/m35rzz and you will see what I mean, but like the great masters, he may well have a team of workers...
