Just heard that Bridge Valley Road is finally reopening on Sunday night.

It will be to have Bridge Valley Road open again I suppose, but traffic along the Portway for example doesn't seem to have been affected that much by the closure - only through the Village.
Perhaps it would be good to keep it closed, open to cyclists and pedestrians only...

A lot of people I know have said the same thing: the road should have been keep closed it to cars as it hasn't made too much difference with the traffic.

Although having said that, walking or cycling up Bridge Valley Road is a mission! Much easier to drive...

I'm surprised they are allowing cars up there again. I wouldn't of put it past them to say it's made no difference to traffic and then turn it into a bus only lane!

I think that people living on Granby Hill are pleased the road has reopened to cars. That road has been a bit of a nightmare recently.
