Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man suffered head injuries in Clifton, Bristol. The man, in his 20s, was taken to the BRI but later transferred to Frenchay Hospital, where he is being treated for serious head injuries. He was discovered in Jacob's Wells Road at about 4am on Sunday April 1. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the Jacob's Wells Road area between 2am-3am on Sunday April 1 who might have information to help them piece together what happened and how the man received the head injuries. Anyone able to help is asked to contact Bristol CID on the force's non emergency number 101.
