Two polling stations directly opposite each other on Whiteladies Road (about a five second walk between them). Why?

Possibly for two different city council wards. It is certainly much easier to "verify" ballot papers on a ward-by-ward basis - which has to be done before counting commences - than checking papers from a box covering several wards.
Is the "Redland side" of Whiteladies Road, Redland or Cotham ward rather than Clifton perhaps?
