There's a big pink bus parked outside the RWA with loads of arty stuff inside it, Also some porta loos. Is this a new exhibition or building work starting?

The Pink Bus is a special exhibit to complement the 157th Autumn Exhibition that has just opened. It is particularly good this year and well worth a visit if you don't usually come along. Most of the art on display can be purchased with an 'Own Art' scheme available to help spread the cost.

Entry to view the Pink Bus is just 50p which can be discounted off the £4 admission fee to the main exhibition. Under 16s are free to the RWA exhibition and £2.50 for concessions. The new gallery is showing the 'In the detail' exhibition at the moment, and as usual the New Gallery is free access to all.

The works to refurbish the basements are underway but the main areas of the Academy are unaffected.

The 157th Autumn Exhibition is open until the 13th of December.
