Just something to kick this group off with. It occurs to me the biggest issue this election could well be our trust in MPs, following the expenses scandal.
Obviously the economy is the number 1 priority, but with both the main parties proposing cuts to sort out the mess, is there much difference between their approach?
Is what really matters more likely to be whether you think your MP is on the make, or genuinely working for you.
Clifton's MP Stephen Williams (Lib Dem) came out of the expenses debacle pretty much unscathed I'd say, in fact none of Bristol's representatives were seriously embarrassed by it.
So our we lucky to live in a place with good honest MPs? Would you trust a new MP to be any different?
I think this year's election is going to be one of the most interesting for years and I intend to post regular stories about it on this site, so I'd love to see other people's stories and views as well, whatever political persuasion.
