Three dogs were stolen during a burglary in Barrow Gurney overnight between Thursday 6 December and Friday 7 December.

Two lurchers and a Jack Russell dog were taken as well as a horse driving harness from a property on the A38 Bridgwater Road.

One lurcher is a 'brindle' female around seven-years-old and the other is a black male lurcher, three to four-years-old with four white feet and a white chest.

Also taken was a Jack Russell/fox terrier cross who is three-years-old.

The family is distraught and are asking for the public's help to reunite them with their much loved family pets.

Anyone who has seen these dogs, has been offered them for sale or has any information about this burglary is asked to contact PC Byron Baker Brown on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
