Join us for an evening of magical French sacred music on Saturday 22nd March 2014 when Bristol Cabot Choir performs at St Mary Redcliffe Parish Church.
Conducted by Musical Director Rebecca Holdeman, the choir is delighted to be joined by two young soloists – Siân Newman singing soprano and Matthew Clark singing bass baritone. Andrew Kirk will be accompanying the choir on the organ.
As well as Duruflé's Requiem, the choir will be performing a collection of works by French composers including Fauré, Saint-Saëns and Gounod.
Each year, Bristol Cabot Choir members nominate a local charity which will benefit from retiring collections at its Christmas and Spring concerts. This year the choir has elected to support Avon Club for Young People in Lawrence Weston. All proceeds from the retiring collection will be donated to this fantastic youth club which has been instrumental in reducing anti-social behaviour in the area.
Musique Sacrée takes place at 7.30 pm on Saturday 22nd March 2014 at St Mary Redcliffe Parish Church, Colston Parade, Bristol BS1 6RA.
Tickets are £12, £10 (concessions) and £5 (students). Tickets can be obtained via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the Choir's ticket line on 0117 949 7164. Tickets are also available to buy online via the choir's website http://tinyurl.com/qcovlce target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://tinyurl.com/prcddtl" target="_blank">http://tinyurl.com/prcddtl
