An evening of evocative fantasy and adventure awaits: from highland-inspired violin wizardry with star violinist Alexandra Wood in Bruch's Scottish Fantasy, Nordic mystery courtesy of Sibelius with En Saga, and the sumptuous orchestration of Ravel's score to the Nymph-laden ballet Daphnis et Chloé before a trip to Middle-earth featuring music from the epic blockbusting Lord of The Rings films.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of St Peter's Hospice.
