Bristol Folk House Open Write Night

Please join us for the writing equivalent of an open mic night, but with a twist – no preparation. You are invited to come and write, perform or just enjoy the show. We will invite audience members to contribute quotes, ideas, words or concepts and the writers will be given 20 minutes to prepare a piece for performance from these contributions. This piece can take any format desired – play, poem, flashfiction or song for example – and once the twenty minutes are up, the writers can choose whether or not to perform it and be scored by our panel. There will also be performance to entertain the audience during the writing process.

Tickets £4 in advance, £6 on the door, available from the Folk House and a share of the money will be donated to Pride Bristol.
