Learn how to make sense of apertures, ISOs, shutter speed and exposure. Take your first step towards great photography and finally turn off that auto-mode! This first day will lay the foundation of understanding and put you in complete control of your images. This day assumes no knowledge and aims to demystify the often bewildering world of technical photography.

Your Teacher Mark Barton holds a first class honours degree in Wildlife Photography from Blackpool & the Fylde College. He has been a contributor at Getty Images and has also had photo features published on the BBC Wildlife website. He is well versed many different kinds of photography from close-ups and landscapes to long lens telephoto work.
