Next week women's health will be top of the agenda at a free event taking place at Spire The Glen Hospital Bristol.
Hosted by three of the hospital's top consultants, women across the city are being encouraged to come along and find out more about issues ranging from period problems and endometriosis to breast care concerns.
Taking place on Tuesday 10th September from 7-9pm, the consultants will address conditions concerning women of all ages.
Speaking about the upcoming event, consultant gynaecologist Mr Fraser McLeod, said: "It's important that women take their health seriously and do not ignore issues such as period pain or sore breasts.
"Every woman's situation and medical history is different, so with this event we want to provide women with a safe and secure environment to ask any questions they may have.
"At The Glen we perform a wide range of procedures, but the first step is to find out more information so people can make informed decisions about their health.
The Glen invests heavily in the latest technology to ensure its facilities meet the expertise of its consultants.
Most recently the hospital installed a new digital mammography scanner, which is highly effective in detecting breast tumours.
The hospital at Durdham Down in Clifton, Bristol has around 350 Consultants who provide care for people in an outstanding facility staffed by 286 trained professionals.
The event is free and open to everyone though it is necessary to reserve a place.
