Roadworks have been in place at the top of Blackboy Hill for the past couple of weeks, making a congested area a little more busy.

The work, which started on the Nov 9, is being carried out to replace the existing traffic lights with a shiny new set.

Apparently the lights that were there were old and needed replacing, according to one of the blokes working there on Tuesday afternoon.

The work was scheduled to last three weeks which means it should be finished by the end of this week, at least until the next bit of road needs digging up.
