Superstitious followers of Clifton Rugby Club believe the club now has a “lucky logo” after linking up with industrial property company SEGRO, for its latest sponsorship deal.

 

SEGRO, Europe’s leading provider of flexible business space, won the annual draw to decide sponsorship and Clifton has made its best start to the season for 20 years after putting the SEGRO logo on the front of its shirts.

 

SEGRO, owners of the Bristol cluster of industrial estates Bristolworks, recently completed the purchase of one of its major rivals, Brixton PLC.

 

Since linking with Clifton Rugby Club, SEGRO has been winning prizes of its own – named Property Company of the Year in the Estates Gazette Annual Awards and voted Best Client by the Industrial Agents Society. The Bristolworks cluster was shortlisted in the Best Overall Scheme category.
