Pomegranate Boutique, Park Street, Clifton, Bristol, to close

Clifton and Bristol's only erotic boutique, Pomegranate on Park Street, is sadly to close.

On their website, where the shop will now be trading online, owner Amy wrote to say goodbye.

"Pomegranate has been such an amazing time for me. I've met so many truly fabulous people, had more interesting and intimate conversations than you can ever imagine, helped more people than I could ever dream of and been part of the wonderful Park Street community. So thank you everyone that has touched Pomegranate.

"I take immense pride that I have run Pomegranate true to my ethics and values. Our product range has remained sophisticated, tasteful and body-safe while maintaining a low price point. We've supported UK and local businesses wherever possible. Our popular evening classes have spread sensual joy across the city and surrounds.

"However, in light of the wider economic climate and the impact that's had on consumer spending, even a shop as unique as Pomegranate can't succeed and I've taken the decision to close.

"So our Closing Down Sale is now online and in-store. It's your best chance to grab an absolute steal of a treat as you won't find better quality treats at lower prices.
