Bristol Choral Society's renowned performance of Handel's Messiah, sung completely from memory, with the stylish period instruments of Music for Awhile and four fine soloists, all conducted by Adrian Partington.

Audience comments from the 2012 performance included 'completely superb', 'really amazing' and, from Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres in her bachtrack.com review 'A fabulous performance......it was as though Colston Hall had been wrapped in a giant ribbon for what can only be described as a Christmas present come early.'

An almost identical cast returns this year - come and hear it for yourself in Bristol this Christmas:
