Great Place for a family day out
With the weather being so great today I wanted to take the kids out so decided to go and feed the ducks at Portishead lake. It is a beautiful, green place with so much to do - there are boats on the lake, play equipment for the children - teacups, bouncy castle and inflatable slide as well as an enclosed park. There are a family of young swans and lots of ducks that will come right up to you when feeding them. You can buy bird feed from the cafe. We had fish and chips and sat and ate them on the green in the sun and it was lovely. I wish we had taken a frisbee or a kite as there is plenty of room to play on the green. There is so much to do that you can spend a whole day here. I would highly recommend it
