Cocktail-tastic!

If you love cocktails, then this is the place to be! Slick but not pretentious, Ameoba has an drinks menu to rival all others, whether you're after a simple G&T; or something more exotic. My favourites are the Thai Daiquiri, a blend of coconut rum, fresh ginger, lychee juice and lemongrass, and the Blackberry and Apple Pie - which comes complete with cinnamon-dusted slices of apple.

    Great bar with some great offers

       

    Amoeba is a really wonderful place to relax and socialise. It seems very small from the outside but once in then it's surprisingly spacious and yet still quite cosy. They have an absolutely brilliant range of beers and cocktails (which normally have buy 1 get 1 free offers on them!) There are open mic nights and DJs, as well as free entry on the weekend. Perfect.

    Hidden Gem

       

    This is a little-known bar/cafe right in the middle of Clifton Village. A funky little place with a cosy and friendly ambience. Split onto three levels, the downstairs is big enough for a large group/party to hire for free. Open til late as well, unlike a lot of the other bars around the area. Excellent music, usually from a DJ and reasonably priced. Highly, highly recommended.
