Me and my fiance have come here a few times now and love it every time. There's always something new on the menu, the food is just incredible and there's a good buzz. The good-sized portions ensure that my "walking dustbin" husband never goes hungry! And all the staff are lovely to us every time. I don't think the prices are high at all and it's definitely cheaper (and miles better) than other restaurants we've tried in the area: The Muset - REALLY expensive and we had to get chips afterwards as we were starving, the over-rated Bell's Diner and really pricey Albion and Primrose Cafe. We absolutely love this place!

Really fantastic - worth the high prices
The Clifton Kitchen is a real treat - I work in the area and went one weekday, not having heard much about it. I saw the prices and gulped, it's about 16 quid a meal, and these types of places tend to let me down. But on this occasion it was superb - there were no measly portions, the atmosphere was buzzing and the staff friendly. They did a Groupon offer recently too, which makes it such a bargain!

A real favourite
The Clifton Kitchen is definitely the Bristol restaurant that I have eaten in the most. When I have friends to visit, we invariably visit for Sunday lunch. Always excellent.

One of Clifton's best
This is a wonderful little local restaurant. The food is imaginative, well sourced and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere relaxed and the service friendly and efficient.
