Visited this place for the first time recently and was impressed. Why would anyone visit overpriced Pizza Express with this up the road?! Large pizzas are enormous and very authentic homemade. Good value too. The bill was £25 for a large pizza for two and a pitcher of beer.

ReportIn Clifton you'll find the same old chains of pizza places but this is a family run place with lots of character and fantastic pizza's their food is alway fresh and the service is always good - you need to get there early to get a table or get there and reserve a table with enough time to go for a quick drink in one of the many fantastic pubs around the village - Clifton Village is the only place to be for the 30+ age group! fun, vibey, quirkey! all in all a great time to be had by all!

This is one of my favourite restaurants anywhere in Bristol. I was introduced to Pizza Provencale by a friend of mine and have been there many times since. The interior is very rustically decorated lots of wood and brass things on the walls and the tables are quite close together, but not uncomfortably so. The service is always very friendly and chatty, but the pizzas are spectacular. There is a sign outside warning you that they are large, and rightly so since one can easily feed two of you. You can ask for a half-and-half topping too, so thats a good option, and they have a proper thick, crispy, hand-made base that Ive never had anywhere else. An excellent night out in Clifton, and for not very much money either!
