EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!
As I sat in this fine building in such beautiful Georgian splendour, it really felt as if the Great British Empire was still intact. Cutlery and Cuisine were both as beautifullu georgous as the building. Service being excellent with an eccentric but excellent owner and dignified waiters. The food was excellent and it feels as if it should be on Bond Street or Knightsbridge. Eating here after leaving a talk with conservative friends, I felt in such a calm and relaxing atmosphere which is what I needed. Rajpoot is excellent in food quality, staff excellence and most definetly the area.

Democracy and Local Politics makes me hungry!
Well after a meeting at the local Council House I traveled up Whiteladies Road with the nostagia of having eaten a great Indian meal here before. I entered the Rajpoot which was about half full and asked for a table for two. We were asked to wait. The waiter then went on to take the order of another table. We waited and waited and then realised that not one table had food, not even a starter all were just chatting away oblivious that there was not even a smell of any cooking going on. We waited and then we left. How sad that such a beautiful building in such a great location has such a poor business. We decided to go to suburbia and had a great curry in a lovely curry house in Kingswood. If you get hungry take my advice go to Kingswood - you'll love it! Boycott Poncy for Real Food andReal people!!!
